🏀Your Eagles and Lady Eagles continue their state basketball journeys today in Hutch! The Eagles compete for 3rd place at 2 p.m., followed by the Lady Eagles fighting for a back-t0-back state championship at 4 p.m. #SLEagles 🦅
🚧 From March 20 - March 24 part of Rice Road will be closed to allow construction crews to do necessary sewer work. This closure will only impact the area of Rice Road directly between the new maintenance building going up to the north of the elementary school, and the Snavely Education Center.
The public will continue to have access to Railroad Street, Pottawatomie Street and the elementary school. We are working with our contractors to get this work completed as quickly and safely as possible.

After evaluating the conditions, the plan is to return to school tomorrow. The most significant concern is the frigid temperatures in the morning. Therefore, we will use our one-hour late start schedule. This change means the school doors will open at 8:30 instead of 7:30 tomorrow morning.
There may be icy spots on the roads and trouble spots around the district, so please, if you feel the conditions are too dangerous for your child to attend school, you are welcome to keep them home. We ask that you notify the buildings as you typically would.
ADDITIONAL SCHEDULE CHANGE: The LATE START DAY scheduled for next Wednesday, February 26th, has been changed to a full school day.
After driving roads around the district, the decision has been made to close for one more day with the hopes road crews have a little extra time to address the streets. We are hopeful to see you all on Thursday! #SLEagles
